Tree House | Bodega Bay, CA 2017
We saw this treehouse on Airbnb’s instagram and fell in love. Then we realized it was in our BACKYARD! We booked a weekend trip without even hesitating. It was the glamping trip of our dreams and we didn’t drive more than an hour.
We booked the Eagle’s Nest Treehouse Farmsay through Hipcamp (it’s not available on Airbnb as it classifies more as ‘camping’ then a home), see the listing link HERE.
It was everything we imagined and more. The treehouse is located on private property on the Salmon Creek Ranch in Bodega. It’s surrounded by farm animals and beautiful redwood trees. The treehouse is quiet and exclusive and it feels like you’re forever away. We went in March so it was pretty chilly since you’re near the coast, but the treehouse was so cozy and had a space heater that worked well!
The treehouse did not have a kitchen, so we ordered Thai food to go for dinner and packed non perishables for breakfast and lunch the next day! It had a wonderful glass shower that overlooked the forest along with a indoor toilet. I’m telling you, glamping at it’s finest. ;)
We spent our time exploring the farm, hiking, walking, and just loving our time it the treehouse.
